A story of how Old Cellar is created.

United by a passion, three friends – Alejandro Pérez, Miguel Arroyo and Rafael Cañizares – decided to combine their talents to create their own wines under the name of Old Cellar. All of them are the fourth generation of winemakers from families who share a deep respect for the knowledge and teachings of their predecessors. With this in mind, their aim is to create traditional wines using the most innovative techniques.

Convinced that the quality and personality of a wine reside to a great extent in the vineyard, this project has placed great importance on the field, on the land and on the cultivation of the varieties of grapes. (Native and varieties)

In combination with indigenous varieties, various international varieties have been incorporated into the project such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah etc, planted in selected areas where the soil, climate and altitude provide the best conditions for these varieties to express their best quality.

Old Cellar is composed of three wineries located in three different regions of Spain: Alicante, Rueda and La Mancha.
